Hi everyone,

I went to the sewing house yesterday. The main sewing area is still closed but things are moving at a modified pace. I was not able to take any Himmel’s home with me but they have promised me that they will be done next Friday. The main seamstress has taken his sewing machines home with him so he is working from home until the main area is back open. This means that only one person is making the Himmel’s right now and that is the reason for the slowness however the upside is that he lives about 10 minuets from my house so I am going to see if I can pick up the HImmel’s individually as they are completed to get them out faster I feel very confident about this update

I will be going out of town this morning for the weekend (family visit). I will be back to work and answering e-mail on Monday. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I did not hear back from the sewing house today so I left another message saying that I will be there tomorrow morning.

I have been following the thread on TBW. I want to clarify what direction my business is going in.

When I announced that I was closing my website on August 18th I had every intention of never selling retail again. I had already hired the sewing house and they had promised me up to 25 Himmel’s every 10 business days. Obviously this has not happened or even come close to happening. My business is switching over to wholesale only. The only reason I have started sewing again myself and posting up custom spots that I myself will make is because I am at a complete standstill and cannot take on any other orders to be made at the sewing house until the ones that they already have are done. I need to come up with money for bill’s so we doing lose our van or have our electric turned off. I know that what I am doing is upsetting some people and I am so very sorry. I am not trying to do anything underhanded or playing any games.

I promise I will have a better update tomorrow. If they cannot guarentee me them with-in 1 week I will take them home with me and finish them myself.

I called the owner today and an employee took a message. I didn’t get a return call so I sent an e-mail. Usually he responds pretty quickly so if I don’t have a call or response by 11 am I will call again. I have decided to take a drive out there Thursday morning reguardless because I want to take a look at what is going on with the carriers myself and see what I can take home with me either completed or that I can complete myself. I will keep you all posted!!

Hi everyone,

I just read through the post on TBW and I want to apologise for not posting an update sooner. I wanted to come back here with pics of Himmel’s and not another “it’s going to be a little longer update”. I talked to the owner of the sewing house today and I am so frusterated. They are not done yet. I am waiting to hear back from him tomorrow to find out exactly how much more work they need because at this point I am ready to pick them up and finish them myself. I am at a complete standstill and to be very honest I am completly broke and that is why I have made some instock carriers and posted some really cheap custom spots because if I don’t make some money soon my van will be repossessed and my electric will be shut off. Believe me I know posting instocks and custom spots before the already ordered carriers ship is in bad taste but I honeslty have no other choice. 

I can tell you that they are ALL started. I have seen them in progress so I know that each and every one is being made. I will update again tomorrow to let you all know what he says after I speak with him. 

Again, I am so very sorry for the delay!!

Hey Mama’s, I just wanted to address the tag situation. Some of the Himmel’s that recently went out went out tagless. I took all of my tags to the sewing house and only kept 10 tags at home since I am going to have the sewing house sew them on from now on.  Well, Elle managed to spill watercolor paint on most of the tags and I had to throw them out. I had already sewn them on a few of the Himmel’s (Emy’s, Tiffany’s, Amanda’s, and Julie’s) but the rest went out tagless. If there is any problem with re-sale or if anyone wants me to verify upon selling that the carrier is actually a Himmel I will be happy to do so. I am very sorry for this inconvience!!

On another note, I will be going to the sewing house tomorrow or Tuesday (going to call them first thing in the morning) and hopefully I will be able to pick up the last of the Himmel’s!! I will keep you all posted! I really appreciate your patience, because I am certainly running out of patience over here with the whole re-modeling situation!!

I just wanted to post an update on the last of the customs. The sewing house remodeling is still an ongoing process. Something went wrong with the main manufacturing room and it is temporarily unable to be used until they fix something with the support beams and the inspector clears it. So they are using a very small room right now and things are going slow. They are promising me just a few more days. I am sorry for the additional delay but I promise that they will all be very much worth the wait!!

Hello Everyone!

I’m sorry for the delay in posting!! Meadow is finally getting better however she is still not 100% better. I have her on some very expensive probiotics now to try to get her back to normal. I am sooooooo tired of changing poopy diapers!!!!!!! LOL

Ok so here is a pic of 8 of the Himmel’s that have either already gone out or are about to go out! One was already gone when I took the pic and another two were still at the sewing house when I took it and I will be picking them up tomorrow. The next 13 will be done this week. The sewing house is in the process of expanding and remodeling so they had the cutting tables and sewing machines down for a few days so they are a few days behind. However what I saw of them in the process of being made was awesome!! They all look fantastic!!

Hello Mama’s,

I just wanted to post an update here in case you missed my post on TBW. Meadow is in the hospital. She has been sick since Friday and became severly dehydrated. She has been getting fluids since yesterday afternoon and is becoming less dehydrated but she is still having tons of diarrhea We are waiting for her test results to come back and they are wanting to see her eat, drink, and hold it down before they will let us go home so it may be a few more days.

Anyway, needless to say I have not been able to get to the sewing house this week. If we are able to leave here tomorrow I will be able to get there on Friday if not I imagine Monday is a sure bet!! I am so sorry for the delay. Please keep Meadow in your thoughts

Happy Friday Mama’s

 I was at the sewing house today and everything is looking great They are almost done with the 10 and will start sewing on the last 13 next week. I am anticipating picking up the 10 early next week and getting them in the mail by mid to late next week (I will need to sew on tags, iron, and take pics first ) I will update again next week when I have the 10 in my possession and maybe post a few teaser pics for ya!!
